I've sunk 50+ hours over 1 week, even called in a sick day to play more!
Despite this, There's still another path to choose and I suspect there's still some content that I've missed.
Seriously did not expect this. Downloaded this game for a quick, fun time and ended up totally immersed! This game and these girls came out of left field and completely took over my life for a week straight. The premise is almost entirely believable, The characters personality traits and their developments are done spectacularly and the dialog/events can be downright hilarious at times! (The 007 event had me dying for an hour! ='D)
This game is so well done and the characters so well developed, that at one point, I found myself feeling romantically attracted to a fictional character. Immersed so heavily that I would fall asleep and wake up thinking about the school and the girls. If this game doesn't count as gold standard material, than nothing is!
The only downsides I've found with this game are personal ones, Such as one of the girls having the same full name as my mom. Or the fact that I'll have to wait to see more. In the meantime I'm going to miss this school and these girls.

you actually need to hire it if you didnt hire it in the first try i think you just either work in the papers until she appears and she will tell you she needs a job and you ended up hire her as a dance teacher and from then you should be fine if you said no a second time im not sure of the way to actually hire her, i know that you actually need her thats all i kno

I don't want to call The Headmaster a "visual novel" because of the sandbox and game elements, but its not just a game either. Epic forms of art like this deserve their own category.
The premise is a bit over the border into fantasy but how the MC "Headmaster" stays true to his philosophy and guiding behavioral-modification principals gives a solid, believable foundation to the events transpiring within this isolated all-girls school. It's refreshing to see such smartly written dialogue and characters.
The story isn't 100% done, but many of the character arcs that are closer to complete are emotionally complex and rewarding. This is hardcore, adult content with mature themes. I can't express enough how wonderful it is to find a deeply erotic story that doesn't feel totally targeted toward children.
Game-play-wise: The strategic punishment system actually forces you think about how to balance pain, humiliation, and pleasure when brute forcing personality disorders, and teaches you about real-world human psychology. Progression within this system is tethered to individual students' lives (through quests) and throttles options but makes the whole corporal punishment system seem believable and rewarding.
The Headmaster allows you to focus on one young-woman for a while or spread out your attention, yet the web of their interconnected lives woven by the overarching story makes this feel organic. You'll see your quest log update with "progress further with x student first" because their relationship to each other, or the school as a whole, fits this requirement perfectly.
I only discovered the wide world of visual novels a few weeks ago and after sampling about two-dozen of the highest rated on this site, I've come to really treasure the games/novels that allow the player/reader to progress at their own pace and not force you to constantly reference a random walk-through and/or lock out major pieces of content due to arbitrary choices. This whole experience is a budding flower of linked complexity, not the frustrating blind mazes I've witnessed with other titles on this site. This is just my personal preference, and The Headmaster executes the expanding sandbox style flawlessly.
There are many threads I cannot wait to see fully realized , but if I had to chose, it would be "training-doll Amy".
I would be lying if I played the game just for the plot, but it is a plot I would enjoy even if the lewd events got removed. thankyou dev for making this um... VN? RPG? Creation? Y-yeah going to go with creation... *ahem* thank you dev for making this creation free.
Wonderful game. When you're fucking Miss Swallows in Part 2 so you take the troublesome student that beat her, Headmaster says she's had enough time to adjust to the "duel" sensation of the ginger and fucking. It's dual. Otherwise I can't remember any other problems. Also the Cheat menu is funny with the Warnings! Hilarious.
Plss help!!!! I had the previous 0.11.1 version installed when I downloaded the new 0.12.3 version it installed a different version(0.12.3) named TheHeadmaster 2 and when I tried to open it, it just starts verifying it but it doesn't completely verify it. Usually, the new version would be installed into the previous one and I thought it might help to delete the old version but I don't know if the progress would transfer so I still didn't delete it. By the way, I am using MacBook.
You can delete the old version and saves will still be backed up elsewhere on your system. Are you trying to download it through the Itch app? Restarting it might help. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to suggest.
This game pulled me in and didn't let me go until I finished everything the 0.11.1 version had to offer. I really enjoy all the aspects of the game: quests of the individual girls, the mystery and the improvements of the school.

The game is just amazing, BUT, as a fan (who plans on supporting you on Patreon once I finally get money from my job) I also have to state some criticisms otherwise my comment would be of little value. It's just minor "criticisms", tho.
I wish the sex scenes and punishment scenes were animated and that the ones that are animated were smoother. However, I know that animation is expensive, that's why this is a minor "criticism". The scenes are still fappable tho, so I still enjoy them.
Few typos. For example, in the magazine, Amy is spelt "amy" with small "A" on one of the pages. (Well, at least in 0.11.1)
Anyways, as of now, this game deserves a solid 9/10.

If you're having trouble in the beginning, just follow these easy steps:
1. Focus on raising discipline, to the exclusion of all else. Get the stat to 20 or higher (30 is a good number to give yourself a bit of a cushion). Once the stat reaches 20, grades will no longer drop. Don't worry about grades themselves, as you will build these up gradually as the game unfolds.
- Quickest way to raise discipline in the beginning is to teach classes, then punish the offending girl in front of the class. This will give you 2 discipline points per class. Do not punish her after class, as this won't do anything for your scores. Teach classes twice a day (do NOT teach sports or monitor the halls, just focus on discipline). Don't worry about popularity or whatever; that will come with time. If done right, you'll gain 4 discipline per day, and grades will be stabilized by the end of the fourth day or so.
2. Train Miss Potts at night. Every time you possibly can, go to Miss Potts' apartment at night and train her to be a better disciplinarian. Until she has proper training, she'll be a liability as her failure to keep her class in line will cause you to lose 1 or 2 discipline points a day. Just keep at it and eventually she'll improve to the point where she can more or less keep the class in line. She'll still occasionally have the odd slip, but the loss will be much more manageable.
Once you meet these two objectives, the game really opens up and gets a LOT easier. Good luck and have fun!

Trust me, once you've done that very easy step, you'll be doing a LOT of punishing. And it just gets better and better as you go.
How do i finish the troublesome inspector i already voted on the corporak punishment that lets me punish them but i tried to talk to ruth she had no dialog i also checked on ms chang and she didnt have the choice to talk about the old headmaster.
For Quest "The Headmaster's pet", task 7 'Click on headmasters locker on a Thursday afternoon', I am unable to click it. Are there any other conditions required? I am not seeing any other conditions but haven't been able to click on locker on Thursday afternoon.

It is reffering to locker room (change you clothes to attend the sport class) in gym/sport area, I also believe this is must be done while Rachel is present .

I'm a huge fan of the main character. Instead of the "generic perv" we see in most adult games, we have someone truly unhinged in the best way possible. Seeing him not quite understand why everyone is shocked at his inapproriate ideas is very fun to see. The insightful dream sequences with him and Ruth are the cherry on top. All the students are all all interesting/likable and are fun to get to know. I didn't think I'd be a big fan of Debbie but she really grows on you after you "team up" with her
I'll definitely be sending money to show my support for such a well-built game!
Have been playing it for 22 hours straight and still impressed (story progress really interesting), the developer is really damn good on this project. Can't wait for next update

I'm stuck at mrs potts using her new methods in class. For 4 weeks no one misbehaved in her class. Not even when discipline dropped to 3.
Maybe add a condition when mrs potts learns the new method she applys in a week regardless of whagever condition is met or not. I dont even know what condition needs to be fulfilled to trigger it.
If i remember correctly, you need to progress with the rest of the storyline and at one point the twins will get caught by Ms.Potts. That's when her training continues.
After seeing priti's chocolate addiction I have to say this developer has more understanding about people that 98% of people I met in my life.

I am in chapter 2 and passed all available school rule (90grades,100disc) and the quest says to get her to take her shirt off with a public punishment. Sadly that doesnt seem to work for me, maybe i progressed her story too late?

How to fix water gun fight event. Everytime i try to do it, it crash saying could not load images. I use android.
There was a compression error with one of then images. Just keep clicking ignore and you can go past it.

Has this game became a bit easy last time I played it was punishing to balance out the stats and not get the school shut down.
If you're having trouble in the beginning, just follow these easy steps:

I'm stuck at mrs potts using her new methods in class. For 4 weeks no one misbehaved in her class. Not even when discipline dropped to 3.
Maybe add a condition when mrs potts learns the new method she applys in a week regardless of whagever condition is met or not. I dont even know what condition needs to be fulfilled to trigger it.
If i remember correctly, you need to progress with the rest of the storyline and at one point the twins will get caught by Ms.Potts. That's when her training continues.

i have a problem on any device when i want to punish Debbie in my office i cant stroke her but to complete the quest. Actually I remain and it asks me to try punish her again to complete the quest and I`m stuck in this loop.

Just continue with the quests, you'll be able to click on it again when you get far enough in the story.

I am in chapter 2 and passed all available school rule (90grades,100disc) and the quest says to get her to take her shirt off with a public punishment. Sadly that doesnt seem to work for me, maybe i progressed her story too late?
