I uploaded 0.16.4.4Public several times on a gamer PC and a Mac M4 since yesterday but none run... I tried also the PC version on Mac under CrossOver (this run perfect for the about 10 visual novels I tried from itch.io) but it produced error.
In the meantime, is it possible to download a previous version? Because Crush176 said that the previous ones worked...

The changes from 16.4.3 to 16.4.4 were pretty tiny, and I know it works for most people. We did switch to the latest version of Renpy, so maybe that's the issue. Without seeing the log file, I can''t really give you much advice. I would suggest going onto out Discord help channel and posting the log file there.
There are a few basic troubleshooting issues that you can try as well.
Delete the persistent file:
A corrupted save or persistent file is a common cause for a game not launching.
Navigate to %appdata% on Windows.
Find the Renpy folder and then locate the specific game's folder.
Delete the persistent file to clear corrupted save data.
2. Update graphics drivers.
I've also seen people say fixing issues with Renpy games not starting is as simple as renaming the folder it's in. I'm afraid I can't verify or test any of these this as the game runs fine on my computer.

I can't get the 8.2. The download on the JoiPlay site in 8.0 and I am unable to update it for some reason. I can't play the game because I can't get the 8.2. I can't find the file for 8.2 as an actual app only as an update file for 8.0. Anyonr know what I could do or anyone have it as an app?

Most Renpy games I've experienced are simple VNs, with player interactions limited to mere dialogue choices. Here we have an array of stats to manage, quests to follow (many of which are interconnected and can apparently have multiple outcomes), complex minigames, and an actual fail state. When I first booted it up and saw we had difficulty options, I knew this would be a unique experience, and I'm glad I've stuck around even if some of the themes aren't aimed at me. I'm looking forward to what else is in store.

I’m on Windows 10, running the game as administrator, and previous versions never gave me this kind of problem, so I don’t think it’s a compatibility issue. I’ve also checked that the antivirus or other programs aren’t blocking the process in any way. When the game starts, a log file is created, but I can’t find anything there that helps me solve the problem.
I’ve also tried downloading the game again, but I always get the same error when trying to run it. Any ideas on how I could fix this? Has this happened to anyone else?

Somewhere i have read next update will come october, in the comments i have read it will come at fall/autumn so my question is will that happen, is there a release date in plan?

i recently switched over to a new computer and got the new update just now, do you know where the game stores its save files? i have the files from my old rig but id like to transfer them o the proper folder so i can play from where i left off..
press win+r key and then type %appdata%. then in the folder opened on your old laptop find renpy inside. all the games you've ever played on renpy would have a save made in that folder, then find this game end share the file to your newer laptop then place it where you found it on your old laptop. enjoy!
Got a new PC and didn't bother to move any files so it's time to restart this masterpiece again. I hope the next update progress is going smoothly, can't wait to see more

I've tried playing this game multiple times on android, but every time i try to open it, it closes straight away. Does anyone know how to fix this.
Did it crash when input name? I fix this by play on pc and save after input name, copy save file to android and load it, ignore warning and continue.
